GRAPE FESTIVALS:

organized by Pro Loco between September and October, it is divided into several stages: from health conference "from grapes to wine," the parade of carts on the streets Sicilian towns, the music and folklore, the preparation and tasting of sweets of the place. This is an event that represents a true meeting point of today with the past, tradition with innovation, the modern historian with a focus, the recovery and exploitation of folk traditions, the true lifeblood of any culture. A rich and varied program features three days dedicated to the grape, the traditions, with its rituals more details and to grapes and its derivatives in general. A kick start to the convention business was healthy "from grapes to wine, which is organized by the Center for Polivalente Petrosino. PRIZE FOR POETRY "PASQUALE BENIGNO":

ELZEVIRO 2008: Environment Culture and Tourism in Petrosino "was the opening night of 'Elzevir 2008", organized by Pro Loco di Petrosino, directed by Patti Life, in collaboration with the SECEM of Marsala.
