The Pro Loco di Petrosino under the auspices of the municipality and in cooperation with the Department of Education and Culture of the City of Petrosino, organized the third National Poetry Competition "Pasquale Benigno" 2005. The prize was divided into two sections: Poetry unprecedented in Italian and unpublished poems in dialect.
Winners of the 3rd prize of poetry "Pasquale Benigno" SECTION "A" Unpublished poem in Italian 1st Place Elvira Alberti with the poem " Along the streets of the South " 2nd place Maria Stabile with the poem "Dedication"
SECTION "B" Unpublished poem in dialect 1st Place Bruno Berlingieri with the poem "Tempi di na vota" 2nd place Rita Califano with the poem "Nu surris"
